Patricia Larzelier has been an avid beachcomber since moving to the Northwest in 1968. She has discovered a way to combine her love of beachcombing and the outdoors with her talent as an artist/craftswoman to create original, one-of-a-kind jewelry with beachglass.

Patricia studied graphic arts in Seattle and interior design at The Cornish School of Art. She has always loved working with the blending of colors, shapes and textures, and felt that she could use her training, natural talents and experience to create original works with beachglass.

After 20 years of running her own business painting faux finishes in fabulous Seattle houses, she created her current business, The Mermaid's Tears, in 1997. She shows and sells her work at Craft fairs from May through December, and restores her inventory and searches out new beaches the rest of the year.
